Need:

NESsT is a non-profit that provides comprehensive support to social enterprises internationally. As the Social Enterprise World Forum approached in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, NESsT was looking to improve their positioning as a thought leader in the space, and provide communications to potential investors which conveyed their mission.

Solution:

Transmografy and Corduroy Media worked with team members at NESsT, synthesizing voices across the decentralized international organization, and guiding the development of a script which conveyed their organizational objectives. We then created style frames, storyboards, and then took several passes at the motion graphics – which passes from a flatter, 2d motion graphics look to more 3d animation and depth, as we learn more deeply about NESsT. Corduroy churned out the production phase in about 2 weeks, rigging and animating 3d puzzle pieces, and compositing the elements in after effects. Once the picture was locked, Andrew and Ben took passes at sound design, recording our own foley for the sounds of softly dropping cardboard.  NESsT expressed surprise and delight when we delivered a high quality product on schedule for their event.
